It's the Pink of Perfection
I love a stylish table, but there's no need to save great design for the dining room. That's where this petal pink Dualit toaster comes in. The Dualit is said to be the best toaster in production, still hand assembled in the UK where it has been made continuously since the early '50s. I've seen it for years now on the counters of stylish kitchens in the pages of shelter magazines.
From the first the Dualit was geared for the professional catering industry, and its first incarnation was as a shiny, six-slice toaster with the first-ever, built-in timer. When professional kitchen appliances became popular with home cooks in the '80s, a Dualit two- or four-slice toaster became de rigueur. Its retro styling along with extra-wide slots for bagels and an eject lever that kept toast warm until you needed it only added to the cachet.
I've seen the Dualit toaster in canary yellow, glacier blue and mint green, but it's this shade of bubble gum pink that caught my eye and kept my attention. Functional. Fashionable. This Dualit is the very pink of perfection.
