Not Going Back to the Old Grind

Ever since my pepper mill bit the dust, I've been looking for a new one. I've waded through hundreds, maybe thousands of salt and pepper mills, grinders, and shakers, not to mention salt cellars, a hip new trend. I checked out traditional looks, modern styles, and everything in between. And then these Norway Says Plus grinders, made for the Danish Design Studio Muuto, jumped out at me.

Though I kept researching options, I also kept returning to these building block grinders, one in a cool, crisp bright white, the other in sophisticated playroom colors. Modern yet playful, with a wink, even, to the traditional wood grinders of yore, they've got me hooked.

If I didn't need one myself, I'd get one to give. Maybe I'll get two, one of each--and keep them both!
