Hot or Cold, This One's For You
We're hosting a houseful over the holidays. More than dishes, more than silverware, we need glassware. I'd like something that works with juice, water, and soda, coffee, tea, and cocoa. That may be asking a lot, but this porcelain tumbler from Bodum answers the call.
Double-walled, it keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold--with no condensation. The white porcelain sports a non-slip silicone sleeve that comes in a host of electric colors.
Bodum began as a home store in Copenhagen, founded by Peter Bodum in 1944. In the '50s the company began to develop its own design sensibility of "simplicity, durability and utility." I love the look.
But as much as I'd like a set for myself, I think they're great to give as well. A hostess gift. A stocking stuffer. For a teacher. For a colleague. Even a great parting gift--for all those guests.

They're $15 *EACH*. That's just nuts.
