Costco Brews Another Party Pleaser
I've just returned from our neighborhood "Night Out", sponsored by the the Seattle Police Department and part of a crime prevention event that's taking place all across the country. Thanks to local organizers Terri and Carrie, our block party is always big bash with lots of people and loads of food.
As of this morning I still wasn't quite sure what I would be bringing to the party this year, but while at Costco later in the afternoon I came across a large display of Kirkland Signature beer. It piqued my interest. There were 24 bottles to a case, six each of Hefeweizen, Amber Ale, German Lager, and Pale Ale, and all for $17.99.
The block party, I thought, was the perfect place to try out these new brews, so I bought a case and offered flights of beer in 3-ounce Dixie cups all evening long. I was popular. And so was the beer. The final word on Costco's Kirkland Signature handcrafted beer? Decent beer. Reasonable price. Great for a party. Another Costco winner.

The beer is great, but not availability apparently. I was able to buy one case but it has disappeared from the shelves now.
