And This Little Piggy...Brought Cute to My Kitchen

The Vine Voices have spoken, rating Pinzon's piggy-shaped cutting and sandwich board with a 4-1/2-star average customer-review rating. Clearly, the gal who collects pig things would love it. But, as it turns out, those customers not biased towards pigs loved it too. Here's what a few of them had to say:

Pinzon Piggy Cutting BoardM. Kelly says, This little piggy found a new home!
5-starWell, first let me admit that I am one of those women who loves to collect things. In my case, it's all things pigs! I have so many little cute pig items in my kitchen (towels, sponge holder, cookie jar, you get the idea). Anyway, when I saw this little cutting board I absolutely had to have it. To be honest, I wasn't looking as much for functionality of the board, but rather the decorativeness of it. I was not disappointed on either front. (read the full review)

C. Williamson says, Attractive & servicable cutting/sandwich board...
4-starAll in all, this is a lovely and serviceable cutting/sandwich board. The piggy design makes for a fun appearance, and you can hang it by the tail (or by the eye, if you're feeling more sadistic). The wood seems nicely treated and sealed and has a satisfying heft to it. It's heavy and large enough so that it won't be sliding around the counter as you use it. The only negative is that hand washing is recommended, and I like to slam things into the dishwasher.

Brandon J. Smith says, A perfectly nice sandwich board
4-starThere isn't much one can say about even the best of sandwich boards. The little piggy looks nice, and the quality of the wood is just what you'd expect after looking at its picture. The Pinzon prep board is perfect for serving ham and cheese sandwiches, though the little guy's so cute that you might feel a little guilty when you're all done.

Mrs. R. Henderson says, Cutest Little cutting board ever! Perfect size when teaching little ones prep for cooking. *NOT FOR RAW MEAT*
5-star**WOODEN NOT FOR RAW MEAT PREPARATION! Even if you do not like pigs this is the perfect size cutting board to have on hand, and is great to use to teach the little ones to cook. When teaching the 3 and up remember to give them a plastic knife. I have started to teach my boys 11 & 8 to cook and this is just the right size for them (about the size of sheet of paper). Great for cheese and crackers display at party or after school snack or just for country / kitchen display.

Sure, you could slice and dice on this board, but I personally love the idea of using these piggies as serving trays for lunch. A nice sandwich, a side of chips, a little bunch of grapes, all served up on a cute little piggy? What kid or adult wouldn't love that?!

LOL - I don't like pigs...I don't even cook, but that is seriously one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

The piggy board is nice but I like the duck board that my daughter made for me when she was in Junior School much better.
