A Toast to Van Gogh
Celebrate Van Gogh’s birthday today with a tasty treat from Van Gogh vodka. A cool recent addition to their vast selection (according to their website, they’ve got more flavored vodkas on the market than any other brand, as well as more four- and five-star ratings than their competition), check out the Acai-Blueberry flavor. Popular because of its noted health benefits and scarcity (the berries are native to Brazil and once picked only keep for 24 hours), Acai has a unique taste that blends the flavors of blueberry, chocolate, clove, and licorice. Add an extra dose of blueberries to the mix, double-distill it, and you’ve got Van Gogh’s Acai-Blueberry vodka. You’ll want to savor the subtle flavors so mix with a light sparkling wine, soda, or tonic. The recipe below comes from the Van Gogh vodka website—head there for more product info and more terrific recipes!
