Today's the last day to send us your #1 recipe for long and lazy cooking in your slow cooker. Get it into us by midnight tonight (PST), and we'll add it to our pile of reader recipes. We'll be posting our favorite one soon, so stay tuned!

Thank you for doing this. Just got a crockpot for Christmas and every recipe I've tried so far has resulted in a foul gruel. My friend swore her "chicken delicious" recipe would be, and I quote, "the best chicken you'll ever taste" then proceeded to send me a recipe involving Cream of Mushroom AND Cream of Celery Soup. It was neither chicken nor delicious. Please help.
