Discover Your Cheese True Love
Pal Jeff B sent me the link to the Cheese Cupid recently (he must know of my love for the cheese--but, then again, it’s hard for pals not to know of it, since I’m usually carrying around a hunk of cheese, because I have a hard time being without cheese for too long) and I’m hooked. It may mean a drop in my daily productivity, but it sure is fun. It’s from the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, and works like this: you first choose from 13 different wine varietals or 9 types of beer or 4 more fortified solo sippers (scotch, brandy, Madeira, or port). Then, the Cupid tells you which cheeses go with your drink of choice. For example, if you’re hitting the scotch (and why wouldn’t you be? The cupid describes scotch, by the way, as, “Opinionated and not easily pleased, scotch doesn’t waste time on those unwilling to fulfill its every need”), then it suggests you pair it with one of five cheeses: blue, cheddar, Gouda, Gruyere, or parmesan, with descriptions for each. Whether you then try each suggested pairing is completely up to you, but I certainly know what I’m doing tonight: cuddling up with the cupid’s suggestions.

I tried "Cheese Cupid." The range of cheeses used in the Cheese and Wine pairings isn't great--at most a dozen types.
The "voice over" is, however, worth the visit.
"Seductive" doesn't cover her voice. She's got a voice like the positive aspects of all the cheeses and wines she discusses.
I might visit the site when I'm lonely (just kidding).
Another great "voice" is that of Gene Roddenberry's wife, Marja Roddenberry (who recently passed on.) She voices the Enterprise (Computer) on Star Trek.
Yet another seductive voice: Hal, the computer from "2001."
