Happy Al Dente Holidays with a Chocolate Cream Liqueur Cheer
I know I shouldn’t talk for everyone, but in this one seasonal situation, let me speak for the whole tasty Al Dente crew and wish each of you (our readers, without whom this blog wouldn’t even matter) a happy holiday season. Also, as a little last-minute treat, below is a video on making chocolate cream liqueur (the recipe’s from my book, Luscious Liqueurs). The video was originally posted on How2Heroes.com, a dandy site overflowing with helpful culinary and cocktailing videos. This liqueur’s a sweet treat, ideal for holiday parties, and also makes a scrumptious gourmet gift (as it doesn’t take long to make, it’s perfect if you’ve put off any shopping until this late date)--and it plays well in cocktails with other ingredients, too, as shown in this video for the Rory Cocktail.
