Free Food On Election Day
Democracy doesn't have to be the only reward for voting. A few companies feel that if you vote tomorrow you should be rewarded with, among other things, free food.
Free Scoop at Ben & Jerry's
From 5pm to 8pm, get one free scoop of your choice.
Free Coffee at Starbucks
Bring in your "I Voted" sticker and get one free tall brewed coffee.
Free Donut at Krispy Kreme
Dunk a free star-shaped sprinkled donut into your free Starbucks coffee.
The craziest freebie I've seen is a free tattoo removal session at New Look Laser Tattoo Removal in Texas. You can get started on that Obama or McCain piece you've been sporting all year.
Enjoy your free food tomorrow--except if you live in California. Sadly, it's illegal to reward the populous for voting (or not voting). What's with all the buzzkill laws?

I read that it's also illegal in Washington (state) to give away free food for voting. This may be a federal law designed to prevent vote tampering. It's misapplied in this case.

Hey all,
Here are more places I found. Some are nationwide, others are local to the Tampa Bay area where I live.

Well, two of those places no longer exist around here and they didn't hand out 'I Voted' stickers at my polling place
...not that I needed any incentive ;)

All sentences are about a little something or someone. The a little something or another person that the sentence is about is called the subject with the sentence. From your weblog, I see that, and study anything I would like. Thanks for sharing.
