Baconnaise Shrimp and Bacon Sandwiches
The next Baconnaise recipe in my series, "Cooking with Baconnaise--Recipes for Bacon Lovers" is the Baconnaise Shrimp and Bacon Sandwich. This recipe was derived from the shrimp and bacon sandwich served at The Cheesecake Factory. The only problem with the one at Cheesecake Factory is that it needs more bacon flavor. This sandwich was the best thing I made with Baconnaise. Even my wife, a bacon agnostic, loved it.

Baconnaise Shrimp and Bacon Sandwiches
Ingredients:
1 pound shrimp (41/50 is preferable, I think I used 51/60 here)
8 cooked bacon strips
8 toast slices
Baconnaise Aioli
3 tablespoons olive oil
Bacon Salt
Chopped romaine lettuce
Tomato slice (optional)
Baconnaise Aioli:
1 cup Baconnaise
4 cloves fresh minced and crushed garlic
Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Fresh ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Lightly coat shrimp in olive oil and bacon salt.
2. Grill shrimp over medium heat on a grill grid or with bamboo skewers.
3. Toss shrimp with Baconnaise Aioli.
4. Toast bread on a buttered pan.
5. Chop romaine lettuce into half-inch slivers.
6. Combine with bacon and optional tomato and enjoy!
Makes four sandwiches.

That sounds delicious. Brought to you by the National "Consume More Cholesterol" Council! I'm sure I'll die happy though.

Finally!!! I have been waiting all month for a new "Bacon" post. haha. This one reminds me of the Bacon Shrimp Club at Cheesecake factory. On a side note never order any seafood at Cheesecake Factor on a Monday. Monday is the last day they keep their old seafood according to the manager. Last time (and i mean the last time ill ever visit the Tulsa location) I had their Shrimp Club I got food poisoning. Nonetheless, that use to be my favorite menu iteam.
