Weekend Recipe: Bacon Cinnamon Rolls

It seems like everyday someone comes up with a novel and ingenius use for bacon. The geniuses over at Bacon Today came up with a simple, yet delicious-looking recipe that you really need to try this weekend.

According to Mr. B., "The taste was both sweet and salty, a perfect combination for a morning pick-me-up meal. Highly recommended for any bacon lover!" Recipe below.

Bacon Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients:
1 tube ready-to-cook cinnamon rolls
1 uncooked slice of bacon per roll

Directions:
1. Unroll the rolls, place one piece of bacon on each roll.
2. Follow printed cinnamon roll directions.

one word, wow. Will the uses of bacon ever run out? To be honest though, these might be pretty good, I just don't have the guts to try it.

Bacon goes well in everything because it is both sweet, salty and crunchy... But my first reaction to this is eww... That icing is tooth-achingly sweet. I would be surprised if you could taste the bacon after that liquid sugar is poured on it.
