I love the doughnuts (as mentioned in at least one earlier post), but even more scrumptious are bear claws--I’m guessing all agree. This photo, from flickr, of an extra sweet claw makes my stomach growl.

Brings back great memories. My dad owned a bakery when I was a kid and bear claws were one of his specialties. Loved them! His looked even better than that one does.
My all time favorites were chop suey rolls. They were fantastic and the funny thing is they were made to use up all the left over dough from the other Danish and cinnamon rolls and coffee cakes. He chopped up all the different doughs with melted butter and then put in cinnamon, brown sugar, a little nutmeg, raisins, cashews, and sometimes chopped pecans. Then they were topped with maple frosting. Delicious!! We had people who had standing orders for them every time he made them.
