Murray's Cheese Boot Camp or Bust
Dear Murray's Cheese,
You continue to torment me in your eastcoastness. I receive your periodic emails listing your amazing cheeses and your robust cheese curriculum. Each announcement of a new round of Cheese U Boot Camp wounds me just a little bit. Today's email was particularly hurtful, listing the following points:
- 3 days
- 48 different cheeses
- 3.3 pounds of cheese per person
I implore you, will you not take your Boot Camp on the road? We here in Seattle are in need of you. Also, my husband may leave me for New York City after your recent announcement of your new Bourbon and Cheese course. We have a young child, and let me tell you, he may never again be able to face a good hunk of Manchego, bearing the memory of his father's parting.
Please consider journeying to the Pacific Northwest. It is for the good of the people. Should you need shelter and hot coffee on your travels, I have a warm bed for you, and there's a Starbucks on the corner.
Yours in cheeseness,
--KitchenMaus

And Nashville... They could visit Nashville on their way...
Jennifer, who also lives with those taunting emails from Murray's...
Great blog! LOL

dear kitchenmaus,
please except my sincerest apologies. the intent is not to taunt, but to entice. but if you garner enough west coast support (or tennessee, as the first comment wrote) then perhaps we can make the trek out there. what can we say? we never like to miss an opportunity to educate people on the pleasures of good food (especially cheese).
thank you for your support and continued reading of the email newsletters. it's nice to know that there are interested people out there (even as far as seattle!) who appreciate what we do.
see you soon,
taylor

Holy stromboli. Well, I can vouch for Southern California's ability to easily fill a seminar or 3. I recommend Pasadena and San Diego, to start with. I'd travel to either for a go at this course, and I can name several others who would, too!

I had a friend who attended cheese bootcamp and loved it.
The only problem was she gained 9 pounds in three days and had to a buy a whole new wardrobe.
Oh well!

and Baltimore...for those of us who are, even as I write, too poor to journey through the Jersey wilds to Metropolis...PLEASE, PLEASE take your course on the road...the hinterlands beg for it.

Actually they could visit Hawaii. We are good cheese deprived out here in the middle of the Pacific. A course in Honolulu in mid-winter would be just the ticket! We even have Starbucks. I would sell my soul (well, almost) for an excellent mature cheddar (think Montgomery!) and perhaps some very fine Somerset apple brandy to wash it down with.
