Al Dente Taste Test: Perfect Water

PerfectwaterblogTouted as "the ultimate fluid to empower your body and mind", Perfect Water makes some lofty scientific claims. These include purification, re-mineralization, ionization, oxygenation,  and something called "microstructuring". Even their website is mum as to what that means. It reminds me of Brawndo: The Thirst Mutilator from the movie Idiocracy, but without all the over-the-top advertising.

As a straight "taste" test, Perfect Water excels in that it tastes like nothing. In a blind test between this and plain water we couldn't tell the difference. There's a slight mouth feel difference (thicker?) to Perfect Water, but after a few swigs it's not noticeable. There was also the way we felt after drinking it. Everyone got a slight oxygen buzz.

In addition to scientific claims, they make performance claims that can be demonstrated with three simple tests. We conducted two--the flexibility and strength tests. First was a simple toe-touch. We all got a baseline for how far we could touch our toes. After just one ounce of Perfect Water and a few seconds to let the oxygen distribute through our bodies, there was a slight improvement--an inch or two. Not a miracle, but a decent improvement. Second was the tip test, which is explained and shown here. This definitely worked as advertised. I'm not sure how it works, but it's pretty cool.

Bottom Line:
Perfect Water will probably make a good workout drink. Not only is it water, it might have some performance benefits. As with any product that makes performance claims, results will vary. With the extra oxygen, you might feel a little extra energy--I hit the gym for an hour after drinking half a bottle and I definitely felt livelier--a little more flexible, and possibly stronger since the more oxygen you can get to your muscles, the better they perform.

You can buy Perfect Water only from select retailers.

I'm definitely interested in trying some more! Just the couple ounces I tried gave me a little energy boost. Probably healthier than coffee or cola!

funny how this follows the post about using less plastic....

The irony was not lost on me.

If you want to buy the water you can get it from my online store... AmazedByUs.biz it runs about $2 a bottle and if you buy 2 cases it qualifies for free shipping... if you have any questions feel free to give me a call (210) 445-0222

That video was creepy- I half expected a faith healer to go tell it on the mountain!

try the tip test: no matter what you try second, your body adapts and you don't tip the second try. we did perfect water first and coke second and the subjects tipped over with perfect water and not with coke. what a hoax. it does taste pretty good though

Well i have been on this water for two weeks now and it is an amazing product. I was as skeptic as could be but after witnessing my ankle heal from a sports injury i am convinced that by drinking this water, i believe it allows a little more oxygen supply flow throughout the body and into the muscles allowing the body to heal quicker. Now i am one of the distributors of this water and yall can find it at my website at: runfire.mychoices.biz and you can also find anything else that you are interested in buying as well but the water is my number one product at this point in time. And please give me a call if you need any help with this, more info., or would like me to personally make an order for you 208-794-9144

I am a pharmacist in Wisconsin and on total disability. I was using a walker to get around because of periferal neuropathy and parkinsons. My flexability and balance improved enough that my neurologist said I was very improved. Now I use a cane and keep 10 cases for myself. Please notice I still have these medical conditions but I can move around better.

To bad it is only sold by people suckered into pyramid schemes.

Perfect Water is fantastic ! I work out and feel great and not tired or rubbery when I am done. There is nohing out there like this water. I have never fealt so awesome in my life!

perfect water rocks

Hey does anyone know how to delete these comments from here? i Would apreciate the help.

As a favor for a friend, I agreed to give Perfect Water a try. He gave me 2 bottles to sample.

During his pitch, I was subjected to all 3 tests. The water did not do improve my flexibility whatsoever, but I am very flexible to begin with. However, I did not tip over after drinking the water so perhaps there was something to it.

Unfortunately, Perfect Water didn't do anything for me, despite me hoping that it would. I'm very active, strong and in great shape. Yesterday was my "heavy" chest day and that means starting off with 5 sets of 5 at 295 lbs on the flat bench. I was feeling rather tired and weak, but I didn't even come close to that, let alone exceed it.

I decided to give it one last shot with my second bottle this morning. I play basketball every M and F mornings before work and drank the whole bottle before leaving the house to see if I would have more energy and endurance. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

Let's see if my true testimonial stays posted since it's a negative...

It doesnt sound like a negative to me. Its sounds like it helped your balance. One reason a lot of people see a more dramatic effect is that most of us walk around dehydrated. If you are a fitness nut, you are going to be drinking a lot of water. It might be a good option for people that dont want to pound water all day.

Im not in Amway Global, but anyone that calls it a pyramid is just ignorant. Look up multi-level marketing or viral marketing. Its a great business plan thats been around for 50 years.

The first time I slammed a whole bottle of Perfect Water, I noticed several changes. One, I was more awake and alert, at a time of day that I'm usually not as much (mid-afternoon, and ready for a nap). Two, I was less achy, especially in my neck and shoulders. Three, my palms and face were flushed, and my face felt warm. Four, there was a feeling of fullness--slightly uncomfortable--in my upper chest, lasting about 30 minutes. The other three changes lasted longer, about two hours. I have not noted any of these changes with any other comparable quantity of water, soda, energy beverages, or coffee.

Due to the chest fullness, I have since sipped, not slammed. I still enjoy the alertness, and the reduced pain.

I just tried Perfect Water and I am impressed. I did the 3 tests. My flexibility is not really good. Usually about 6 inches from the ground. After the test I was about 3 inches from the ground. just for kicks, about 10 min later, i touched the ground.

As far as pyramids. There is a guy who works on the bottling line for Coca-Cola. His boss makes more than him. His boss makes more than him. His boss makes more than him. the C.E.O makes more than him. The president of Coca-Cola makes more than him. aren't all jobs pyramids?

Great article on Perfect Water!! That is the most awesome product to ever hit the market.

You may all think im crazy my freind play basketball cant dunk but can get rim with about half of his hand. One day we went to the ymca and played basketball and he had a bottle of the perfect water and felt stronger and more flexibility. So he started jumping to see if he could jump higher and got the rim further than wrist. and amzingly he dunked the ball on a full 10foot hoop. so this stuff really works its not a joke

I have read all these posts .... I find it difficult to lend a lot of credibility to a product, that is so great, but only available through a multi level marketing company (I avoided using the word pyramid , so not offend anyone!). Most highly recognized products that have true benefits .... will benefit from an availability globally on there own. If you look at the perfect water web site ... eveything is vague and full of humour ... almost as if they are making a joke out of the fact that people are actually buying this stuff. I am not for or against .... lets just say I am suspicious!

Its always good to be skeptical but just because you are not aware of something doesnt mean its not a good product. Exclusive rights are just that exclusive, you cant get a big mac at Burger King b/c its exclusive to McDonalds. Be suspicious and do some research and you will find that this is a great product! Its Availability is global for everyone to receive benefit from.

according to your comment saying you "find it difficult to lend a lot of credibility to a product, that is so great, but only available through a multi level marketing company (I avoided using the word pyramid , so not offend anyone!). Most highly recognized products that have true benefits .... will benefit from an availability globally on there own" Making that statement tells me that you must be an employee. Alot of Companies will love to have a product moved for them through a network of distributors that are getting results as opposed to paying millions on advertising. which is more effective? word of mouth or placing tv adds? Why is it that a lot of companies are now paying customers to refer a friend. If you know it or not Warren Buffet brought 2 multi-level marketing companies. Now if one of the wealthiest people in the world see's the power in this industry and you don't. Than that must mean that one of you are ignorant when it comes to business. I will let you figure out who it is. Or maybe you caught something that Warren Buffet missed and thats why he's wealthy and you're probably broke.
