Hot Coffee and Doughnuts in the Nude? Seems Dangerous to Me

Coffeedough As most who keep up-to-date with food news know, Dunkin Doughnuts has been working over the last few years at expanding its customer base beyond those just looking for scrumptious fried dough treats, specifically targeting those who head to a café for more than regular coffee. However, I’m not sure they are aiming for the small segment of folks who like to drink their coffee and toss back those doughnuts au natural. Which is what a Marlborough man recently found out, according to this article. Okay, maybe he was taking it a bit farther than looking to have his breakfast while leaving his clothes behind, but I’m guessing there is a contingent of folks out there who are nude eaters-and-drinkers. I’m not opposed, either, if they’re not interfering with my dining. But (and this is what seems wrong to me) if you are a fan of the naked meals, wouldn’t you avoid the hot coffee? Isn’t that a painful scorching waiting to happen? If any readers out there partake in clothing-less meals on a regular basis, let us know if you avoid those hotter dishes, or if you’re just extra careful when sipping or eating them?

Checking out the article, I notice that the page is dominated by an illustration.

An illustration of a van, that it. It's an advertisement for a car dealer. Is it the *official* van for nude drive-thru patrons?

Funny thing is, your is the first post I read after I returned from shopping at Darrenkamps, in Willow Street, PA. I told the clerk, Beth, for a couple of pints of Sadie's potato salad. She replied that she'd like a couple of pints of Guinness - and then she blushed when I said thanks, but I'm married. One of the other clerks asked what was the matter, and she said she didn't know why, but she was flirting with a customer.

This is the same store that, a couple of weeks ago, a naked man entered late on Friday night, and started throwing chairs around, and breaking up chrome and glass stuff - refrigerator cases, a packaging machine, etc. You probably saw the film clips on CNN, the Today show, MSNBC, or whatever news show you prefer. If not, the story is at http://canthook.com/node/50

The donut clerks were too upset to serve their nude customer, but we take things more in stride here in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. A customer walked up to the naked guy here, started talking to him, found out that he wanted a cig and walked him up to the cashier and bought him a pack of his favorite brand, and when the guy decided that he was going to throw some more chairs around, told him not to. He didn't. And he remained calm until officers arrived to escort him to a facility where they could keep an eye on him.

I don't think Beth was suggesting anything inappropriate, but if I had been single, I certainly would have investigated further. She seemed like a really nice girl, someone I would have been proud to have meet my late mother....

so tasty. I like to watch video http://rapid4me.com/?q=cooking about cooking.
