Bacon + Sugar = Crazy Delicious?

 

For those of you who enjoy a sweet and salty taste combination (or just have an open mind), I give you the bacon chocolate bar and the bacon cupcake.

Mo's Bacon Bar from Vosges features applewood smoked bacon, alder smoked salt, and deep milk chocolate. Vosges also makes candy bars that feature ginger and wasabi, Indian curry powder and coconut flakes, and kalamata olives.

The maple bacon cupcake recipe featured on the VanillaGarlic blog, looks and sounds pretty darn good, despite the extensive preparation instructions. Any adventurous types who have a go at making these, please report your findings! And if you've got a sugary bacon treat I've missed, I'd love to hear about it!
